Preparing Humanity through Verification, Insight, and Action

An Organization as Visionary and Action-Oriented as UAP Demand

The Sol Foundation was born in 2022, just after the US Congress received a pivotal intelligence report on unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP. We recognized that the world would need a dedicated research institute and policy think tank, driven by qualified experts, to prepare all areas of society—government, academia, the private sector, and religious and other civil institutions (to name a few)—for the changes that increased public awareness of UAP will bring.

Sol’s work is pioneering and nearly unprecedented. We succeed by focusing our efforts in three areas: scientific and philosophical research; government and social policy; and public education. We emphasize research not only because UAP affect all areas of human knowledge and endeavor, but because understanding something as enigmatic as the phenomena requires scientific inquiry and intellectual reflection by trained professionals. We tackle public and social policy issues because UAP demand bold, considered action from governments and social institutions. And we educate, playing a leading role in public discussion and dialogue, as the world-changing ramifications of UAP require a mature and responsible approach to this once fringe topic.

Our cutting-edge research, policy, and education program aims to offer an initial, wholistic solution to the challenge of the UAP presence by verifying and achieving insight into the phenomena as well as by taking bold action.

  • Verification Through research and data analysis in astronomy, material science, and the social sciences, we strive to offer hard, scientifically evidence that UAP technologies, vehicles, and other anomalous phenomena exist and are of nonhuman provenance.
  • Insight Through the above and other lines of investigation, including in fields like anthropology, epidemiology, physics, and political science, we are developing insights into the ramifications of UAP for science, society, and the human psyche—and even striving to understand the nonhuman intelligences that likely make and operate them.
  • Action Drawing on these insights, we recommend and take action. Through policy papers, advisory work with national governments and civil institutions, and our media projects and public events, we guide and shape humanity’s response. We ourselves also intervene, through nongovernmental disclosure work that prepares the ground for the US government and readies the public.

Our agenda is as challenging as it is bold, and we make progress by convening leading voices on UAP from academia, government, civil society, and the private sector.
